Spring continued our return to physical events with the Pro Landscaper Business Awards 2022, bringing the landscaping community together for an afternoon to celebrate the excellent standards set within the industry.
After another enormously successful event in 2022, we’re looking towards The Pro Landscaper Business Awards 2023, which will move venues to Old Billingsgate on 21 April.
Pro Landscaper’s April 2022 edition, meanwhile, saw Peter Reader move to “debunk the fairytale of farming”. “We lambast other countries for the destruction of their native environments, and yet we continue to destroy our own,” he said.
Our ‘Let’s Hear it From’ for April featured the BBC’s Your Garden Made Perfect newest addition, Oliver Bond, who spoke about how he ended up on the show and utilising his exposure to promote garden design.

Clare Matterson CBE was named as the new Director General of the RHS, moving from her role as Executive Director, Engagement at the Natural History Museum.
The British Association of Landscape Industries marked its 50th anniversary, having planted its roots in the Spring of 1972.
Meanwhile, Marcus Watson, director of Ground Control, began a 1,400-mile cycle from Land’s End to John O’Groats in aid of raising money for Alzheimer’s Society.
