Gardening Scotland, the country’s national gardening and outdoor living show, will be taking place from Friday 3 to Sunday 5 June at the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh.

The three day event is the biggest plant fair in Scotland, promising to provide everything from an abundance of plants, tools, equipment, garden furniture and inspiration to make a garden grow.

To encourage visitors, Gardening Scotland is suggesting tickets to the event would make a perfect Valentine’s Day gift, saying: “What could be more romantic than giving your heart’s desire the opportunity to see the most beautiful floral fair in the country?”

The Show Garden Avenue will display the work of leading garden designers who this year have been given the challenge of showing what can be done with the sorts of gardens that most people have at home, while both the Royal Caledonian Horticultural Society and the RHS will be on hand with expert advice on growing and gardening. There will be more than 400 visitors at the event, as well as other attractions including a craft marquee, and a food theatre.
