Specimen tree and shrub grower Griffin Nurseries has just completed the latest development to their wholesale nursery with 1.5 acres of new container beds for growing larger specimen trees and multi-stems.
Managing director Rupert White said: βWe are always moving forward on the nursery, whether it is a state of the art greenhouse and irrigation system, harvest machinery or moving to peat-free compost. This new growing area will allow us to increase our range of specimen plants particularly multi-stemmed trees and they will all be grown in βAir Potsβ to help develop a fibrous and robust root systems.β
The nursery is situated on the Hampshire/West Sussex border and produces a comprehensive range of specimen trees and shrubs grown in the field, their container unit or their βCravoβ retractable roof greenhouseβ.
In 2014 Griffin Nurseries celebrated their 25th Anniversary, having grown steadily from a two acre plot to over thirty acres of production, but still with the same focus on quality and satisfying customer needs.
