Advanced KFS Special Vehicles Ltd. have been the preferred supplier of 3.5 ton beavertails for the last 3 years to The Landscape Group and are currently delivering 18 new vehicles as a result of an ongoing fleet replacement program and the company’s success in winning new contracts.

The vehicles based on Vauxhall Movanos and Renault Masters have a 3.6 metre aluminium beavertail bed with drop sides to the front section, removable high vis working at height barriers and Advance KFS’S own designed and manufactured tailgate which is spring assisted with an aluminium frame and a GRP punched mesh surface, which offers outstanding grip in all weather conditions.

The vehicle body has benefited from a number of design enhancements over the last 2 years including the fitting of a LED compact light bar, LED repeater lights on both the back and front of the vehicle, chapter 8 chevrons, and also a collapsible traffic directional arrow located on the rear tailgate.

All the above are focused on making the vehicle more visible, to other road users when parked on the side of the road or moving through pedestrianised areas.

Angus Lindsay (Group Head of Assets & Fleet for The Landscape Group) commented “The vehicles we’re currently taking delivery of, not only give us a cost effective solution to move commercial mowers to and from site without having to drag a trailer around, but the development of the product which Advanced KFS have been proactive in working with us on, now means it addresses the challenges we face as an employer with reference to offering our operatives as safe a working environment and equipment as we possibly can”.

The vehicles will be delivered to multiple sites around the country and have been funded by Motiva Group, who have a long standing working relationship with Angus Lindsay and The Landscape Group.
