At a ceremony in Horncastle last week Robert Crowder recognised 50 years of service for both Terry Taylor and Tony Tomlinson. They started work within 2 days of each other in April 1966 and have worked for 3 generations of the Crowders family.

In a presentation in front of all employees of W Crowder & Sons Ltd both Terry and Tony were presented with framed “50 year” certificates, RHS certificates and medals and gift vouchers. Robert Crowder said “In a long established family business with a loyal and stable workforce it is not uncommon to be presenting long service awards, but this is the first time we have given two 50 year awards on the same day! The family ethos of this company is rewarded by the loyalty and length of service of its employees and we are fortunate to have the expertise, experience and knowledge base as a result.”
