Local authorities, parks gardens and cemeteries have problems digging holes and moving soil backhoe where accessibility is a problem.

The Lewis Equipment 320S backhoe has been designed and built for the professional user with the larger compact tractors. Typical uses include golf course maintenance and cemetery work.

The 320S has a digging depth of 2·75 metres and with an extending dipper arm the reach is approximately 3·2 metres.

When the tractor of whatever make is fitted with “turf tyres” it answers so many of the problems associated with cemetery work.

Unique features of the Lewis Backhoe range are that maintenance is minimal as no greasing of bushes is required as polymer IGUS bushes are used. Also, the design allows for quick and easy attachment and removal from the tractor.
Where the ground is hard through compaction or stones or where increased depth and lift capacity is needed Lewis Equipment recommend the 420S model.

The 420S has a digging depth of 3·2 metres with an arm reach of more than 4metres. This can be mounted using the Lewis Backhoe chassis beams to large compact tractors beam attachment system providing a very stable and reliable fixing point so the backhoe can be removed or fitted in less than 5 minutes.

The 420S can also be put on the category 2 linkage of a small agricultural tractor.

Every model is easy to operate from a comfortable seating position and a range of interchangeable buckets from 15cm-60cm.

All have a powder coated finish for durable corrosion resistance, can be colour matched to your existing tractors and all come with 12 months warranty.
