RHS Tatton park success for Glendale horticulture

by | 27 Jul 16 | News

Following on from the success at RHS Chelsea Flower Show and more recently at RHS Hampton Court Palace Show with Paul Hervey-Brookes’ Gold medal winning Dogs Trust garden, Glendale Horticulture have increased the number of award winning gardens supplied with the addition of RHS Tatton Park Flower Show last week.

Lewis Normand, Glendale Horticulture’s head of garden design has once again been working with the RHS Young Garden Designer of the year contestants in supplying their gardens at the show with UK grown plants. Having had success in supplying the winner of the competition for each of the previous three years, Glendale are delighted to once again supply the winner Caitlin McLaughlin in her Gold medal winning garden entitled ‘Nature and Nurture’. 2016 was particularly worth celebrating as Lewis supplied plants to all three of the contestants for their Tatton gardens.

Lewis said of the competition, ‘The RHS Young Designer of the Year competition continues to grow and is an excellent example of the depth of talent in garden design across the UK. It is always a pleasure to work with the three young designers and it has been good to see a number of them develop into prominent designers in the industry over the last few years. The 2016 competition will, I’m sure, be no different and the considerable talents of Caitlin, Rob and Lilly are obvious to anyone who has worked with them, or have seen the gardens they created for the show.
