Leading hard landscaping manufacturer Marshalls plc recently awarded the Best Driveway Transformation Award to Southampton-based contractor Aura Landscapes at the regional heats of the 2016/17 Marshalls Register Awards.

The awards celebrate the very best in hard landscaping, ranging from ‘Most Creative Use of Marshalls Products’ to the highly coveted ‘Best Engineering Achievement’. This year, the judges had to choose from hundreds of entries from Register member companies based all over the UK.

This is the 19^th Award for the local landscaping firm. Last year, it was named as one of the UK’s top 100 businesses through Small Business Saturday and it has been named as the best landscaping firm in the South by Travis Perkins in its High 5 competition.

Mike Warman, owner of Aura Landscapes Ltd, said: “We would like to thank Marshalls for the awards given which could not have been achieved without the help from the Marshalls team who support us on all the projects we work on. As a local landscaping company to achieve 19 awards in 7 years is quite an achievement. It is always a privilege to have our work recognised in the industry and by such a large company such as Marshalls.”

The Marshalls Register Awards were launched by Marshalls in 2008 and are open to members of the Marshalls Register of Approved Landscape Contractors and Driveway Installers; although they are not directly employed by Marshalls, members endeavour to abide by a membership agreement and are regularly vetted by Marshalls’ assessors.
