In a statement, the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) has announced that its shows director Nick Mattingley will be leaving the RHS at the end of November 2017.
It continues: “The RHS Shows team are continuing to plan the 2018 Shows as normal and are delighted with interest from exhibitors, designers, sponsors and growers wanting to be at Chelsea next year.Β The recruitment process has begun to fill the shows director role.”
Nick has been with the RHS since February 2015, when he first joined as head of shows, and became shows director in 2016.
The news comes after Tom Harfleet announced last month that he was leaving his role as head of RHS show development and RHS Chelsea Flower Show manager to join Seedlip, a manufacturer of non-alcoholic spirits which sponsored a garden at Chelsea earlier in the year.
