Pro Landscaper is pleased to announce the most influential people in the industry, as voted for by its readers.
The 24 inspirational people were revealed at the UKβs leading landscaping trade event, FutureScape, held at Sandown Park Racecourse on 14 November.
The search for the most influential people was launched after the huge success of Pro Landscaperβs 30 Under 30: The Next Generation. Appreciating that the horticulture sector also has an abundance of successful and inspirational people who have been working within it for many years, and who are still guiding the progression of the industry today, Pro Landscaper was interested to find out who the wider industry believes is currently influencing the UKβs landscaping industry.
Around 200 well-known people within the sector were contacted, from award-winning landscapers and garden designers to leading suppliers and those who commentate on the sector. They were asked to nominate five people who are still working in the UK sector.
The individuals chosen were revealed in a stand-alone supplement at FutureScape, and will also be featured in the December issue of Pro Landscaper.
Publisher Eljays44βs managing director, Jim Wilkinson, says: βWe wanted to recognise the people that have been shaping the landscape sector and the reaction from those who were named as the top 24 was surprising, many didnβt realise the high esteem they are held in by their peers and fellow industry people, so weβre delighted to have been able to highlight them in Pro Landscaperβs Most Influential.”
