Lichfield car parks have teamed up with PayByPhone to launch a new tree planting scheme, just in time for Christmas.

Running in partnership with Eden Reforestation Projects, the scheme aims to see 100,000 new trees planted, with one tree set to be planted for every 100 parking transactions on PayByPhone’s software. equating to one tree for every parkinthere are hopes that the initiative will see 100,000 new trees planted.

Adam Dolphin, UK managing director at PayByPhone, says “We are extremely proud to be launching our Green Christmas campaign for the fifth year and have been overwhelmed with the amount of support we have received in past years.”

The scheme launches today (1 December) across Lichfield and will run through to the end of the year.
