The Chartered Institute of Horticulture and PlantNetwork team up to deliver a new free Neurodiversity Research Webinar on 18 July.
Running from 12pm to 1:30pm, the event looks to provide an opportunity for participants to learn about and engage with research surrounding neurodiversity in education and employment, followed by a Q&A and roundtable discussion.
The webinars first speaker is Sheona Goodyear, doctoral research at the School of Education, College of Social Science, University of Birmingham.
Goodyearβs research investigates inclusive and trauma-informed practice in education, focusing on identifying barriers to attainment and well-being.
Lantraβs own director of external relations, Corrina Urquhart, will then be highlighting the research undertaken by Lantra to better understand neurodiversity.
Urquhart was recently shortlisted for the Women Who Achieves Awards 2024 for her work introducing a new national programme to recognise learners of all ages across the sector. She has also undertaken research at Lantra, exploring the rework of land-based apprenticeship delivery.
The Neurodiversity Research Webinar is a free event, taking place over Zoom on Thursday 18 July 2024 at 12pm through to 1:30pm.
