The last few places are available for Pro Landscaper’s upcoming Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) Workshops Day, taking place on 11 September at the Park Plaza in Westminster.
Contributors, among others, include Fiona Ross from Pinsent Masons, Jack Potter from Wild Capital, Tom Edwards from the British Association of Landscape Industries, Matthew Dodds from Environment Bank, and David Strows from the Association of Professional Landscapers, as well as Amy Croombs from Natural England and John Wyer from Bowles & Wyer.
Pro Landscaper launched this new event after BNG legislation introduced earlier this year proved a huge talking point at the Future of Commercial Landscaping Conference.
The legislation requires developers to deliver mandatory biodiversity net gain of 10% on all major developments, unless otherwise exempt.
Beyond that, the workshop – held in partnership with Greenwood Plants, Joe’s Blooms, Tyler Grange and Vectorworks – is an opportunity for the UK-based landscaping industry to connect, learn from each other and help shape projects at an earlier stage.
From commercial landscapers and contractors, to landscape architects and supplier and solutions providers, it provides a great chance for the industry to better reach its potential, as well as for professionals to have their voices heard in the face of this new challenge.
