Stihl, the German kit manufacturer, has put out its first 12β battery-powered cut-off machine, the TSA 300, aimed hardscaping and construction professionals.
It features variable speed control and creates a significantly narrower cutting kerf compared to petrol models such as the TS 410, resulting in greater battery efficiency and cutting accuracy.
Compared with the TS 410, the new model is lighter, more compact, features less vibration and is designed to be suitable for demanding professional applications.
With a maximum power output of 2.5kW and a weight of 8.3kg, including the battery, the machine is ideal for quickly cutting bricks, metal and paving blocks up to a thickness of 110mm.
The TSA 300 also benefits from Stihlβs power boost technology, a feature that regulates the power input from the battery to increase performance whilst protecting the machine from overheating.
A magnetic filter protects the internal components from metal dust ingress, resulting in reduced downtime and easier maintenance.
