Geoff Hamilton is to have his life remembered with the release of a second book The Right Jeans, by his son Nick, with a virtual launch event on November 25.

It will be available from the Barnsdale Gardens online store and the shop on-site, it is the anticipated follow-up to The Right Genes.

It is the second in a trilogy that delves into the life of Barnsdale Gardens’ visionary and Nick’s father, Geoff Hamilton.

Nick now continues his father’s legacy at the helm at Barnsdale and the launch will see him read his favourite excerpts from the book.

It chronicles Geoff’s journey from his early days as a Gardeners’ World presenter to his pivotal role as the programme’s heartbeat at Barnsdale. In total Geoff spent 17 years at the show, from 1979 to 1996.

The Right Jeans is released on 25th November, but if pre-ordered before 18th November customers can get their copy personalised and receive it a week earlier.
