Hillier Nurseries is one of nearly 400 companies to be granted a Royal Warrant by King Charles III.

Chairman George Hillier has called it an “extraordinary honour”. The business first received the warrant from HRH The Prince of Wales in 1935 and has since held Royal Warrants for both the Queen Mother and Queen Elizabeth II.

“This legacy is one we hold in the highest regard. To continue this tradition under the warrant of His Majesty The King is a profound privilege and a source of immense pride for Hillier.

“The recognition of our efforts through the Royal Warrant inspires us to further our mission of preserving and enhancing the beauty of the natural world for generations to come.”

The company, based in the south of England, says His Majesty’s focus on the environment aligns with its own commitment to sustainability. It unveiled a new sustainable growing facility was under construction earlier in the year.
