Sustainable open space management has “never been more crucial” following the introduction of biodiversity net gain last year, says Meadfleet’s managing director David King.

The open space management company is marking its 30th anniversary this year, which King says is “a testament to our expertise and commitment to providing housebuilders with a seamless, long-term solution for open space management.”
Meadfleet was founded in 1995, which it says makes it the longest established specialist open space management company in the UK.
It adds that it is “uniquely positioned” to support developers in fulfilling the 30-year management plans required as part of the biodiversity net gain legislation that came into force last February.
“We take pride in helping developers create lasting, high-quality environments for communities across England and Wales,” concludes King.
