STIHL announces the launch of three new battery-powered professional lawnmowers suited to noise-sensitive areas.
The new 7 series petrol models are the first to feature in STIHLβs new double AP platform. Utililising a 72 V motor, the mowers draw power from two AP batteries.
The RMA 750 V model is the smallest of the three, with a 48cm cutting width, while RMA 756 V has a 54cm cutting width for faster working, and the RMA 7 RV is a dedicated mulching mower with no collection bag and a cutting width of 51cm.
All models have a mono-comfort handlebar, made from an aluminium console and steel upper section. Its height is adjustable and it folds over for compact transport and storage.
With variable speed transmission, all models can be adjusted from 0-6km/h; while the gearbox has a protective cover and a soft start feature.
With three modes, the mowers can switch from eco-mode, standard and auto-boost. These are available depending on the type of terrain being cut.
Eco-modeβs reduced RPM maximises battery working time when working under a light load. While standard is for everyday use; auto-boost can be used to overcome challenging patches of dense grass.
