Caribbean Blinds employees attended a smart solar shading training day in an effort to improve their product knowledge and expertise.

A course curated by the European Solar Shading Organisation and run by the British Blind and Shutter Association in the UK, it explored the products and their impact on buildings and the people working and living in them.

Key areas discussed included the science of solar radiation, how shading affects energy use and the economic and environmental benefits.

Stuart Dantzic, managing director of Caribbean Blinds says this training is to “ensure that we can confidently recommend the most effective solutions for any project.”

This new training will allow employees to provide informed recommendations for future projects.
