Seven Gold medals have been awarded to gardens at this year’s RHS Malvern Spring Festival, which opened its doors to the public at the Three Counties Showground today.
Three show gardens picked up the top accolade, with one of them also sweeping the category awards. Designed and built by Humble Bee Gardeners, the Biosis: Mode of Life garden won Best Show Garden, Best Construction Award and the Environmental Innovation Award.
A Reflection of Nature designed by Claire Lowrie and Ben Newell won the title of Best Indoor Plant Garden. The new category introduced this year gives indoor gardeners the opportunity to showcase their talent in a five metre by five metre space, all of which are judged the same as the outdoor show gardens.
