Marshalls plc

In its latest trading update Marshalls has revealed a return to growth, with the group delivering £207m for the four months to 30 April.

It’s a four percent increase from last year and “an encouraging start to 2025,” says chief executive Matt Pullen.

He adds that the hard landscaping material supplier remains focused on “executing our performance improvement plan in Landscaping” that it launched in June last year.

Marshalls reported back in March that its plans were “gaining traction”. In the first four months of the year, the landscaping division has shrunk by three percent to £85m, from £89m in 2024. But Marshalls says this is a “significant improvement” from the 11 percent drop in the second half of 2024.

“We remain confident of achieving revenue and market share growth for Landscaping Products in 2025 and are further encouraged by the ongoing improvements in our order intake,” says the supplier.
