Wilkinsons Landscapes expects its busiest year yet, with plans to hire an additional five landscaping operatives with more set to join before the summer season.
The landscaping company also operates the North Eastβs largest plant centre, which is set to surpass an employee count of 50 across both companies.
Simon Wilkinson, managing director of Wilkinsons Landscapes says this expansion comes as a means to βmeet the demand from the commercial work.β He adds:
βWe have steadily grown over the years, but the last couple of years have been exceptional. Weβve worked hard to modernise our processes and technology.β
Investing heavily in equipment and training, it has recently moved to a digital-first approach to garden design using LIDAR scanning technology, drones and computer-aided design.
Founded in 1981, the landscaping company and plant centre plans a selective recruitment process.
