Redesigned by The Garden Company, The Long Garden opens at the National Trust property Cliveden in Buckinghamshire.
Led by managing director and principal designer at The Garden Company, James Scott took inspiration from the original vision of 20th-century garden designer Norah Lindsay.
While honouring the garden’s historic roots, Scott and the team have intended to introduce a bold and contemporary planting style.
Scott describes the garden as an “all-year interest,” adding:
“What I really hope is that when people visit they will find it a very immersive, tranquil experience.”
Other new features in the garden include central flower beds, wider York stone paving, and Yew hedging.
