A wellness-themed show garden designed and built by Green Genie Landscapes will be one of the centrepieces at this year’s Outdoor Living & Wellness Expo in October.

Green Genie Landscapes will be sharing the build process on its Instagram, which has gained more than 1.1 million followers since it was founded in 2020.

The Bristol-based contractor, run by brothers Jake and Ethan Thorne, has become known for its contemporary landscapes and has built up a portfolio of celebrity clients including grime artist Bugzy Malone.

Its first-ever show garden at the Outdoor Living & Wellness Expo – which is co-located with the FutureScape Expo – will feature products from Sauna Spec, Cotswold Eco Tubs, Long Rake Spar, Core Landscape Products and Orko Electrical, as well as plants from Hortus Loci.

“We’re really excited about the build coming up in October,” says Jake Thorne. “It’s been such a big journey just getting to this point, without even seeing any of the materials yet or working alongside anyone, so we’re looking forward to getting started with all the different people who are supplying us and all the people who are going to come and give us a hand.

“Working with FutureScape – for both us to produce what is technically our first ever show garden – is exciting, to build something that people can see and stand inside and for us to be proud of and show everyone what we’re capable of. Hopefully it all goes as well as we’ve planned and we have a really great time.”

A second show garden will also be featured at the Outdoor Living & Wellness Expo, which is taking place from 7-8 October at the ExCeL London. Details for this will be revealed soon.
