Gartenart Swimming Pools has announced that it was awarded second place for the Pondy Award at the International Congress.

Running since 1999, the biennial International Swimming Pool Convention at the International Congress acts as a hub for specialist exchange.

Gartenart entered the Pondy Award, which has two different categories – Natural Swimming Pool / Pond in the private sector and in the public and commercial sector. 

Awarded second place for its West Sussex Swimming Pool project, Gartenart converted an existing unused pond into a natural swimming pool. 

Melinda La Mantia, head of design, says the win is an “honour,” as Gartenart also takes to social media to celebrate the win:

“Being recognised among such inspiring work is an honour. Thank you to everyone who’s been part of this journey. Here’s to creating more natural, sustainable spaces – one pond at a time.”

This year, countries such as Argentina, Belgium, Denmark, Mexico, England and the USA participated in the event.
