ECHO has announced the launch of the DCS-3500T, a 56V battery top handle chainsaw that can be used for longer runtimes. 

The chainsaw joins the DCS-2500T in its 56V professional line-up with a longer 35cm bar and 252Wh battery. 

With a two-step, single-finger throttle lockout safety system which prevents accidental activation, the chainsaw has been produced with safety in mind, explains the supplier. 

There is also a patented QuickDraw hook which enables hooking and unhooking with one hand, whilst the reduced gap between the roller chain catcher and the sprocket guard prevents accidental climbing rope damage. 

The chainsaw also features an air inlet filter that prevents dirt and dust from entering the cooling passage, electronics and motor compartment. 

Available from ECHO dealers nationwide, the DCS-3500T is priced at £499.
