The Prague Institute of Planning and Development has revealed the design plans for Chotek Gardens in collaboration with Prague Castle and Arkytek Studio.
The first public park in Prague, Chotek Gardens has been designed to develop the original form of the park, while increasing safety and comfort, as well as street furniture restoration.
Plans commenced in 2024 with participation from the public, before opening the competition in May 2025.
Featuring a new corner with a water feature, shrubs and flower plants around the monument of Julius Zeyer, there will also be a new rest and look out area above Chotkova street.

Together with Matouš Jebavý, Arkytek Studio finished as the winning team, with design plans set to go back to the public which will help finalise the proposal.
