Geosynthetics specialist Terram has released a new nonwoven geotextile engineered to safeguard impermeable pond and attenuation tank liners. 

The Terram pond liner protection geotextile (PPG) provides a protective layer between the pool liner and the underlying soil or substrate. 

Intended to help prevent punctures, tears and damage to the critical lining system, both during installation and throughout the pond’s lifespan.

Manufactured using UV-stabilised, high tenacity virgin polypropylene fibres, Terram PPG should deliver strength and durability, as explained by Adam Brooksbank, national sales manager:

“It offers superior protection against punctures and teats, helping to extend the life of pond liners and reduce maintenance costs.”

The design also incorporates randomly oriented web to provide consistent strength and performance in all directions.
