One of the first Pro Landscaper 30 Under 30: The Next Generation Award winners in 2015, Ed Verity has announced his new company, Edison Ernest Ltd, will be available for all garden and landscape construction projects.
Previously acting as contracts manager for Willerby Landscapes, Verity explains: “I set up my own company because I like being on the tools.”
A flagship project within his career was building the roof gardens at Battersea Power Station in London. “I was in the commercial landscaping scene in London for nine years,” he explains.
Now, Verity details he wants to build nice, high-end gardens again with his team. Starting small, there are only three of them working at Edison Ernest, which he intends to only grow to a team of six.
“I want to be around for my children,” he says, “I want to available rather than working 13-hour days in the city.”
The father of three appreciates his journey into the industry. “Winning a 30 Under 30 award has been beneficial to my career.”
As Verity sets up his brand, he will be releasing new information on the company in the coming months.
