The RHS Malvern Spring Festival will be returning to the Three Counties Showground this May with two new features.
For the first time, experienced and emerging garden designers will be able to enter into the new Blooming Borders category for a chance to win an RHS medal.
Floral Tablescaping will be making its debut at this yearβs show too. Floral designers will style five garden sheds, with each featuring a tablescape of fresh and dried flowers, foliage, plants and botanicals. These will also be judged, with one taking the inaugural RHS Floral Tablescaping award.
Returning for the 2026 show is the School Garden Challenge, which encourages primary and secondary aged children from the surrounding counties to engage in horticulture by designing and creating their very own gardens at the show, with this yearβs theme being Myths & Legends.
The Festival of Houseplants is back as well, offering RHS-judged Indoor Plant Gardens, interactive experiences and workshops, as well as a wide range of houseplants, rare specimens and interior accessories available to purchase.
A new feature garden designed by Martyn Wilson will highlight the benefits of clay soil, which is thought to account for around 25% of all British soils, especially across the south and east of England.
The showβs features and programmes will also celebrate the 2026 theme: Roots of the Future β Honour the past, grow the future.
The RHS Malvern Spring Festival is taking place at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern from 7β10 May 2026.
