Horticultural professional and lecturer Laura McArthur has launched her new website which supports career development in horticulture and garden design.

McArthur discusses her own carer, a monthly blog covering garden design, carer progression and major horticultural shows and her own writing, talks and consultancy.

A Pro Landscaper 30 Under 30: The Next Generation Award winner, McArthur says it “opened doors to trade events, networking and a clearer understanding of how the industry operates. It also revealed the gaps many newcomers and career changers face; from missing associations and networking opportunities to unclear pathways into the sector.”

After picking up her award in 2022, she hopes to share any insight from her career through her new website.

Tailored to students, early-career practitioners and established professionals, the platform addresses barriers in the industry while offering practical advice and guidance.
