Originally written by Geoffrey and Susan Jellicoe, an updated version of the seminal text on landscape architecture, The Landscape of Man.
Covering the journey of landscape architecture from prehistory up to the present day, the updated text will be in full colour, with a new introduction and final chapter.
First published in 1964, the book dives into everything from small gardens to complete cities, following how humankind’s instinct to shape its surroundings.
The new final section of the book, edited and written by Tim Richardson, spans modernism to postmodernism to post-industrialism.
The Landscape of Man will be available to buy from 2 April.
