Design, sourcing and footwear wholesaler Overland Shoes debuts Bobcat‘s new safety footwear range.

Developed under license from Dooson Bobcat, Inc, the range offers men and women “the strength and innovation of the iconic Bobcat brand, trusted on worksites worldwide, into a new generation of stylish and enduring comfortable safety footwear for the modern installer,” says the company.

Featuring Redbacks cushioning system, the leaf-spring technology intends to help disperse pressure and reduce shock with every step, while maintaining balanced support across the entire foot.

Shoe and Allied Trades Research Association (SATRA) has found that leaf-spring technology improves impact shock absorption by up to 40%.

Peter Lawson, brand manager at Overland Shoes says “comfort shouldn’t be a nice-to-have – it should be non-negotiable,” adding:

Each series of the range are named after American industrial locations. From the Delta series, the Summit, Forge, Keystone and Bastion, each series provide a range of performance and safety measures for specific needs.
