The countdown continues as RHS Sandringham Flower Show readies its debut on the Norfolk royal estate with a few new announcements.
Dave Green will be designing the RHS Head Gardeners Show Feature, honouring the head gardeners across RHS partner gardens as a way of paying tribute to the work that goes into maintaining the historic estates, botanic collections, public gardens and specialist landscapes.
Displayed within a courtyard setting, the feature will represent British landscapes stretching from Cornwall to Cumbria and Kent to Somerset. Using information boards, visitors will have the chance to discover the stories of head gardeners’ careers, journeys and achievements.
Sandringham has also added a show garden to the line up. Mindful Chef’s Gathering will be designed by Sophie Godber and built by High Peak Garden Construction with Michael Robinson. The space imagines an inter-connected patchwork of habitats going from a garden, kitchen, orchard and home.
Laura Strand and Sam Stark-Kemp join the show with the RHS Crafted from Nature Garden. A feature garden built by Norfolk County Landscapes, it will reflect Norfolk’s traditional skills in a contemporary way.

On top of this, the show will highlight the King’s passion for arboriculture with the Tree Listening Project. Created by Alex Metcalf, visitors will have an opportunity to hear about a tree’s lifespan through headphones.
Future Wood by Barcham Trees also comes to the show, designed Tom Hoblyn, to highlight how trees are planted to withstand today’s climate.
RHS Sandringham Flower Show opens to the public on 22 July 2026.
