5 things to look forward to at the Summer Spectacular

by | 18 Jun 26 | Community Highlights, News

Pro Landscaper’s Summer Spectacular returns on 9 July at the De Vere Horsley Estate in Surrey, bringing together the landscaping and garden design community for an afternoon and evening of networking, celebration, and entertainment. Here are five highlights not to miss:

1 Soaking up the sunshine at the Summer Showcase

Enjoy a relaxed summer afternoon connecting with fellow landscapers, garden designers, and industry professionals while exploring the latest products and innovations from outdoor specialists. Food trucks and a fully stocked bar will keep you refreshed throughout the day, while those with a competitive streak can take on the industry’s annual tug of war, hosted by the Association of Professional Landscapers, and attempt to dethrone last year’s champions.

2 Recognising Pro Landscaper’s Most Influential Decking Suppliers

The winners of Pro Landscaper’s Most Influential Decking Suppliers will be presented with their awards following nominations and votes from our readers. These businesses are setting the benchmark for the sector through exceptional products, outstanding customer service, and a commitment to sustainability. Awards will also be presented to the Most Influential Decking Leader of the Year, recognising an individual making a significant impact on the industry.

3 Discovering the winners of the Pro Landscaper Project Awards

Eighteen category winners will be announced at this year’s Pro Landscaper Project Awards ceremony, hosted by a comedian. Among them will be the inaugural winner of the Project Awards PLUS Garden category, which celebrates ambitious, visionary garden designs that have been successfully delivered, with no upper limit on project value. Discover the shortlist here.

4 Celebrating the Supreme Winner

One of the most anticipated moments of the evening is the announcement of the Supreme Winner. Selected from across all category winners, this prestigious accolade is awarded to the project that achieves the highest average net score from the judging panel, which includes Brian Herbert of Outdoor Options, Mark Gregory of Landform Consultants, and garden designer Rae Wilkinson. Last year’s title went to Stonehill by Formosa Landscapes – who will follow in their footsteps this year?

5 Dancing the night away at the industry’s summer party

No Summer Spectacular would be complete without the annual Summer Party. A firm favourite in the horticultural calendar, this year’s Greek-inspired celebration will feature Mediterranean food and drink, plenty of opportunities to catch up with colleagues and friends, and live entertainment from an ABBA tribute band. Expect to be singing along to the classics and embracing your inner Dancing Queen long into the night.
