by | 24 Jun 26 | Landscape Architecture, Nature & Biodiversity, News

Barcham Trees, in association with the Trees and Design Action Group, is hosting two in-person events at its nursery near Ely to explore the future of urban forests.

Taking place on 5 and 12 August 2026, the event will cover the implications for designing with trees in the urban forest, species selection, nursery production and actions that must be taken now for a sustainable and enduring urban forest to be achieved.

Joined by the likes of Treeconomics founder Kenton Rogers, Tony Kirkham, former head of the arboretum, gardens and horticulture services at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew and Sue James, convenor of the Trees and Design Action Group, each day will be led by a group of speakers.

The content will be of interest to arboriculturists, horticulturists, landscape architects, landscape contractors, tree nursery managers, architects, specifiers and those involved in site supervision and delivery.

Those interested in attending, must RSVP by 27 July 2026. Find more information here.
