This month, Pro Landscaper celebrates its 15th year of bringing the industry together.
In February 2011, Eljays44 was founded by three original directors, including former managing director Jim Wilkinson, Lisa Wilkinson and current chief executive Jamie Wilkinson. By September, Pro Landscaper magazine was launched, quickly establishing itself within the industry.
Over the last 15 years, Pro Landscaper has launched its Business Awards, Project Awards, Sustainability & Biodiversity Awards and 30 Under 30: The Next Generation Awards – to name just a few.
Pro Landscaper’s editor, Rachael Forsyth, comments on the milestone:
“When we sent out our first issue of Pro Landscaper, we had one important goal: to bring the industry together. Achieving that goal has now gone far beyond the pages of a magazine. Itβs on stages spotlighting young, emerging talent with our 30 Under 30: The Next Generation initiative. Itβs recognising the success of companies with Pro Landscaper Business Awards. Itβs celebrating projects, from large to small budgets, with Pro Landscaper Project Awards. Itβs in conference halls and seminar theatres sharing knowledge and insight with Pro Landscaper Premium Plus. And itβs in the exhibition halls of FutureScape.
“Over the last 15 years, weβve been lucky enough to build up an incredible network of experts, many of whom we can genuinely call our friends. With the support and guidance of the industry, weβve created a community that continues to grow and evolve. As we look ahead to the next 15 years, we will continue to make Pro Landscaper, quite frankly, all about you. We have been, and always will be, for the industry, by the industry.”
Over the month, Pro Landscaper will be reflecting on the last 15 years, and looking ahead towards the next inside its September issue and online. Follow the updates on the website, Instagram, Linkedin and Facebook.
