Pro Landscaper September 2026

by | 04 Sep 26 | Digital Editions

This month’s issue is a special one, as Pro Landscaper celebrates 15 years since it was launched.

When we sent out our first issue, we had one important goal: to bring the industry together. Achieving that goal has now gone far beyond the pages of a magazine. Over the last 15 years, we’ve been lucky enough to build up an incredible network of experts, many of whom we can genuinely call our friends. With the support and guidance of the industry, we’ve created a community that continues to grow and evolve. We’re celebrating our journey with special features throughout the magazine, including a timeline of some of the highlights of which many of you will have played a part.

The September issue is also our Public Spaces Special, where we explore how green space is transforming our towns and cities. Whether for flood reduction, heat mitigation, commercial value, people’s health and wellbeing, or biodiversity, the benefits are almost endless.

As we look ahead to the next 15 years, we will continue to make Pro Landscaper, quite frankly, all about you. We have been, and always will be, for the industry, by the industry.

In this issue:

  • Let’s Hear it From: John Little: John Little introduces us to one of the most important projects he’s ever worked on and gives advice on making spaces biodiverse.
  • What’s Changed in 15 years?: In honour of Pro Landscaper turning 15, key figures from the industry reflect on what’s changed over the years.
  • Greening Our Towns and Cities: Experts explore what successful landscape-led schemes can happen and the opportunities for the industry within public realm.

Don’t miss:

  • Creating safer spaces: 71% of women have experienced some form of sexual harassment, so Holcim and Ask for Angela explore what safe spaces look like.
  • Speak the Architect’s Language: Mark Latchford, director at HollandGreen, offers advice on articulating the benefits of early intervention from garden design and landscaping.
  • A Recipe for Playgrounds: Showcasing some of the most innovation new playgrounds, experts explore how they contribute to successful placemaking.
