Arbor Forest Products’ Arbordeck Awards return

Arbor Forest Products has announced the return of its annual Arbordeck Awards for 2021, giving landscapers the opportunity to showcase their best decking projects at FutureScape and be in with the chance of winning a fantastic prize package.

And this year, there are more chances to win than ever before thanks to the introduction of two brand new categories. Installers can now enter the TrexPert of the Year and Top Spec Trex Deck categories, as well as existing categories Best Large Trex Deck, Best Small Trex Deck, Best Commercial Trex Deck, Best Trex Design Solution, and Best Arbordeck Softwood Timber Deck.

All entries will be considered for the coveted Deck of the Year prize, where the winner will receive a money-can’t-buy trip for two to Washington, D.C. complete with a visit to the inspirational Trex University in Virginia. The winners of each category will receive a prize package which includes a £250 Love2shop voucher and having their deck professionally photographed.

Following last year’s virtual awards, this year the Arbordeck Awards will be held in person at FutureScape 2021 on the 16 November at the ExCeL London.

Arbor Forest Products’ decking business manager, Jonathan Cooper, is leading this year’s panel of judges and is joined by Alan Hodkinson, Gary Cornhill and Phil Tremayne. Together, the panel of judges boasts decades of experience across the decking and landscaping industry.

Commenting on the return of the awards, Jonathan said: “This is my first Arbordeck Awards, and I’m most looking forward to seeing landscapers’ hard work celebrated and rewarded, especially after a difficult 2020 and 2021. Everyone who puts forward their work deserves recognition, and while we can’t reward everyone who enters, it’s fantastic to see such dedication and loyalty towards Trex.

“The past 18 months have been challenging for landscapers due to industry-wide shortages, so we’re delighted to be bringing back the Arbordeck Awards as a thank you for the support we’ve received from our customers throughout.”
