This summer, Trex® composite decking installers from across the UK will have the chance to showcase their work during the first ever Arbordexperts Installer Awards.
The inaugural awards is organised by Arbordeck in partnership with Pro Landscaper Magazine, and is looking for the best Trex composite decking projects in the country. The Arbordexperts Installer Awards are open for entries now, and installers have until 28 September 2018 to submit their projects for consideration via the Arbordeck website.
Installers can enter their projects into four categories – Best Large Trex Deck, Best Small Trex Deck, Best Commercial Trex Deck and Design Challenge with Trex – with entry open to all Trex decks installed in the past 24 months.
All shortlisted entries will automatically be entered into the Trex Deck of the Year category with a chance to win the grand prize – a trip for two to Washington DC, where the winner will have a behind the scenes tour of the Trex University. The winner will be announced in a ceremony at Futurescape, the UK’s number one landscaping trade event, held at the Sandown Park Racecourse, Surrey, on 20 November 2018.
The category winners will receive £250 of high street vouchers, as well as having their work professionally photographed and getting a full marketing support package to promote their winning project.
Commenting on the Arbordexperts Installer Awards, Trex product manager Sarah Francis said: “The UK has really taken composite decking to heart, and through our work with installers, including the TrexPro scheme, we know that there are some innovative and beautiful decking designs out there. We decided to launch the Arbordexperts Installer Awards to celebrate this fantastic work and provide installers with a platform to showcase it, with a money-can’t-buy prize on offer too.
“I’m delighted to be working with Pro Landscaper magazine as it’s the perfect place for installers to display their best Trex decking projects. I’m looking forward to working through the entries with Jim Wilkinson and the rest of the judging team in due course.”
