As the industry gives recognition to those spaces that make up the majority of people’s private domains, Pro Landscaper’s small project BIG IMPACT Awards is growing in importance. These smaller spaces are no longer seen as just a backyard for storage – the trend is to create a usable space to relax and socialise privately.
These awards appreciate the complexities of designing and building a small space, and on a relatively small budget. In fact, it’s often harder to get the ‘wow factor’ within these restrictions. Despite this, we’re proud to say that, for the second year running, we had an excellent response to the awards, with a good number of entries in all categories.
Without the dedication of the judging panel, spBI would not have the kudos it has gained, so we thank each of them for taking the time to scrutinise and comment on the 2019 entries. We would also like to extend a big well done to all the shortlisted entries – these schemes are outstanding.
And very many congratulations to the winners and to our 2019 Supreme Winner. The winners were announced at FutureScape this afternoon, see the results below.
