The RHS Great London Plant Fair, 26-27 March 2013
The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), the UK’s leading gardening charity will hold the annual RHS Great London Plant Fair from 26–27 March 2013. The show will display a beautiful bounty of spring colour, provide a vast selection of plants to buy and offer essential gardening advice.
This celebration of spring will give visitors the opportunity to take home tips and advice on how to revitalize even the most tired and frostbitten gardens after the harsh winter.
Daffodils will be a key theme, as the show hosts the Early Daffodil Competition. The Alpine Garden Society will be holding their nationwide annual spring competition, as well as showing people how to grow alpines from seed and hosting interactive talks. The RHS will also be holding a Hyacinth competition, bringing the outdoors inside.
Tim Oakland, RHS London Deputy Show Manager says: “The RHS London Shows provide a large range of exceptionally high quality plants. This is a great opportunity to experience spring at its most vibrant, buy some of the most beautiful specimens and speak to nationally acclaimed horticulturalists for advice, all in the centre of London.”
