The Bourne Group has announced the launch of its latest venture to accompany the other four companies in the group – The Dumpy Bag Company.
This new company will be involved with the collection and recycling of waste materials, with waste streams from the landscaping, construction and DIY sectors, specialising in the waste coming back to site in its own bulk bags.
Company chairman Peter Bourne says: “With a fleet of 10 grab vehicles on the road every day delivering bulk bags of horticultural material, we wanted to take advantage of our existing infrastructure to complete the environmental circle whilst keeping our trucks working as efficiently as possible.
“We recently obtained the environment permits required to control all aspects of the recycling process and are looking to recycle at least 90% of the materials coming back to our depots. The flexibility of this service should allow clients large and small to manage their waste on site much more efficiently than they could with a traditional skip.”
The Dumpy Bag Company will launch officially in the coming weeks and looks to process around 15,000 bulk bags per annum.
