Bowles & Wyer unveils new brand identity and website

Landscape company Bowles & Wyer has unveiled a new brand identity and website as part of the ongoing development of the company following its restructure two years ago.
Refreshing its look to better reflect the company’s core values and future vision, the new brand has been developed by branding agency Carter Wong in collaboration with printmaker Andy Lovell.
Taking inspiration from abstract landscape scenes, the bold and vibrant new look has been developed from a series of exclusive prints by Lovell which have been used to reflect the parallel between the fluidity of the artist’s stroke and the beauty of landscapes. A new brand mark sits alongside a carefully chosen colour scheme inspired by nature and the tagline ‘Look Forward’ has been incorporated to convey a forward-looking vision.
 
John Wyer, Chief Executive at Bowles & Wyer, said:
“After seeing Carter Wong’s initial concept, we decided to collaborate with artist Andy Lovell because there’s something about his work which wraps up everything that we do – it’s about the texture, the bigger picture and the detail, but it’s also about the way the relationship between art and landscape is at the heart of who we are. Working with plants and working with people – the two things seemed to come together in a really natural way and we are absolutely delighted by the results.”
 
The new website will offer a more streamlined view of Bowles & Wyer’s considerable portfolio that encompasses projects from roof gardens and city plots to high-profile show gardens and country estates, showcasing the full range of the company’s projects and allowing visitors to easily explore them.
The new brand identity and logo will be rolled out across all touch points by the end of August including new-look social media platforms, updated uniforms and new liveried vans.
