Charlesworth Design wins Best of Houzz 2015 Award

Over 25 million unique users cast their vote for top rated home building renovation and design professionals in the UK and around the world.

Houzz is an online community for international designers to showcase and share their work with each other through a visual platform.

Charlesworth Design the garden design practice established 16 years ago and based in Sale, was voted the ‘most popular’ in 2014.

The process to enter the awards is simple, the requirements are to send over project images along with three quotes from recent clients. It is then left to the Houzz community to vote for their favourite professionals in the categories of Design and Customer Satisfaction.

Garden Designer Robert Frier MSGD spent two years full time at Reaseheath College and was elected a Full Member of the Society of Garden Designers in 2001

He has won several RHS awards for show gardens at Tatton Park and has appeared on six episodes of ‘Surprise Gardeners’ on ITV – forerunner to ‘Groundforce’

He also lectures in Garden Design and is actively involved voluntarily in the regeneration the 20thC garden based on Hidcote (Walkden Gardens in Sale) recently honoured by the Queens Award for Volunteering.

Designer Robert said “I am delighted to have been recognised by so many top professionals the world over, I am privileged in having a constant stream of clients who trust me and ‘go along’ with some innovative ideas, I’m lucky to have a team of landscapers who are capable of getting these often unique concepts off the paper and onto the ground; this award goes to them too.”
