Next week will see the second instalment of our #getlandscaping series of webinars. The main focus for this season of our Online Summit is how the landscaping sector can get back to work safely, quickly and – more importantly – profitably.
Winning work (at least, the ‘right’ sort of work) is key to all landscapers and designers of any size, which is why the next webinar on Monday 8 June will be debating this topic.
We’ll be asking our panellists how they identify and find the type of work that suits their company. How much depth do they go into when they cost projects? What are the potential pitfalls?
Our industry experts will also share how they manage their overheads and prepare for unexpected situations, such as bad weather and sickness.
The big questions, though, will be around new measures they have put in place as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and how their contracts have changed. What lessons have they learned, if any?
The audience will have the opportunity to grill the panellists themselves, as the Pro Landscaper team will be taking questions throughout.

Monday 8 June 2020 | 4pm | Winning work (well, the right type of work).
The panellists are:
- Tessa Johnstone – director, Johnstone Landscapes Ltd and board director, BALI
- Mark Youde – director, Urban Landscape Design
- Tony Benger – owner, Tony Benger Landscaping Ltd
- Sean Butler – owner, Cube 1994 Ltd
- Julian Ransom – owner, 4th Corner Ltd
Then on Tuesday 9 June at 4pm, Jim and Lisa – directors of Eljays44, the publishing house of Pro Landscaper – will be put under the spotlight themselves by Richard Gardiner, owner of NAG Solutions.
They’ll be asked questions around Eljays44 and its industry leading brands, Pro Landscaper and FutureScape. Always wanted to know how the company was started? Curious how COVID-19 might have affected the company? Eager to find out Eljays44’s plans for the future? Register for the seminar here.
