FutureScape featured in leading events trade publication

FutureScape, the number one trade event in landscaping, has been featured in Exhibition News, a business-to-business magazine for the events industry.
Managing Director Jim Wilkinson and Event Director Jamie Wilkinson feature in the interview, which can be see here: https://viewer.joomag.com/en-02-22/0657227001643302006 on page nine.
Jim Wilkinson comments: “one of our aims when we decided to move FutureScape to ExCeL and add an extra day was to increase the profile of the UK’s landscaping industry. Having featured, on the cover no less, in this magazine this month is testament to the team’s desire to this mission.”
In the three-page feature, Jim and Jamie share their thoughts on doubling the size of the show, working through a global pandemic that has ravaged the events industry and plans for growth moving forward.
Both the show in November, and FutureScape Spring, the first event in the landscaping calendar, are scrutinised by the magazine.
Jim and Jamie share their views on how the first set of COVID-19 restrictions hit the day before the FutureScape Spring show in 2020, how the industry reacted to the first ever FutureScape VIRTUAL in November of that year and how the FutureScape event in November 2021 again showed the trust the industry has in the event.
Growth
The Eljays44 team knows that this is just starting to break the ice with regards to FutureScape’s aims, but having gained attention from a long-standing, market-leading magazine such as Exhibition News, it shows that the landscaping sector is starting to become recognised by more than just the construction trades.
FutureScape Spring returns to Sandown Park Racecourse again this year. The one-day event will take place on Tuesday 15 March 2022, and will have a strong focus again on sustainability, biosecurity and aftercare of successful landscapes.
