FutureScape Round Up 2019 – Pro Landscaper Theatre

With visitors flocking from all corners of the country, FutureScape 2019 was a great success. The busiest FutureScape to date, the 2019 event established the show as the best in the industry.

Once again, the seminars were hugely popular and attended by many. The industry lead talks covered a range of the most relevant topics in the business, from building your brand to responsible recruiting and coming of age in landscaping to the current climate crisis.

Here are the highlights from the Pro Landscaper Theatre.

Making it Big in Landscape Construction: Stand Off or Stand Out

They also tackle topics surrounding the current political disputes and how they think the landscaping domain may be affected by such issues.

A panel of successful businesswoman took to the stage to providing an inspirational talk on how they made their mark as women in the industry.

As well as discussing equality in the workplace and the procedures companies should have in place to support women, particularly expectant and working Mums.

Daring Design: From Meadows to Metals

Speakers: Working in an ever-changing industry, landscapers are continually having to adjust the way they work in response to current trends.

The daring design panel allowed the speakers to discuss their house style and whether having a set way of working holds you back in the industry. They tackle issues surrounding sustainable material choices and how to stand out and make your mark in the landscaping world.

Fortune Favours the Brave: Building Your Personal Brand

Respected designer and lecturer John Wyer sits down to speak with Eljays44 Director, Jim Wilkinson about the impressive 25 year history of Bowles & Wyer and where it all began for the business.
