Garden designer Annie Guilfoyle and horticulturalist, writer and researcher Noel Kingsbury have announced the 2020 Garden Masterclass schedule, running from April to November.
New venues for the Garden Masterclass include Exbury gardens, Lowther Castle, Denmans, the National Botanic Garden of Wales, Blarney Castle, June Blake’s garden, Hestercombe, Hayne, Coughton Court and Wildside. Events will also take place internationally.
There will be a special focus on the use of trees and shrubs, with new themes that include designing and specifying natural swimming pools and planting designing for the public realm. Some events will be specifically tailored to landscape architects and garden designers. Landscape industry events include Nigel Dunnett at Pictorial Meadows, Deb Evans and Noel at Hestercombe and Ton Muller with Zac Tudor comparing urban landscape design in Sheffield and Amsterdam.
A new selection of tutors will include; James Hitchmough, Tom Stuart-Smith, Sarah Murch, Cassian Schmidt and Bettina Jaugstetter, Deb Evans, Marian Boswall, Jo McKerr, Brigitte Girling and Julie Toll.
