A passion for plants and gardens.


Q What would you say is the best thing about your job?

The process of transformation of a garden from a neglected or unused uninspiring space to a garden the clients love, use and are excited about.


Q How is the bulk of your work made up?

Domestic garden large and small – I enjoy variety.


Q Current trends in the Market?

Growing your own vegetables.


Q How do you remain competitive?

Listening carefully to clients, showing them their garden is special to me and giving excellent service.


Q Who are you inspired by?

Nature, the Scottish Colourists, Dan Pearson, David Hockney, Faberge, Christopher Lloyd, people who love plants and gardens…


Q Favourite film and TV shows?

Frasier, Coneheads, The Commitments, BBC Pride and Prejudice, The West Wing.


Q Countryside or seaside?

Seaside every time.


Q Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter?

Autumn, but it’s a close run thing.


Q Where’s your favourite holiday destination?

Seychelles (before the Hollywood stars found it).
